Is the GHD the ultimate hair straightener?

I made a post on my blog today about the latest pink GHD in aid of breast cancer awareness. its very pretty in pastel and has some extra goodies like a bag and heat resistant pouch. however i will skip this release as well as much as i would like a GHD, as i wait out for either a true GHD mini (why is their mini so large and heavy?) or another white one. 'Pure' was released last year but i missed out on that one in australia.
It has aroused my curiousity in how many people have a GHD compared to other brands, most of which i think are not even available in australia. i currently have a slightly dead Remington which i was never impressed with, and a mini Corioliss which is good enough. What do you own and is GHD the best?

We all have those days where we just do not want to be at work another single second! Your constantly avoiding the co-worker that wants to regale you with their latest stories about how their toenails grow weirdly, and Miss Gossip over in HR burns more ears than actually sending on important information. You go home exhausted, after a hour long commute, and have to be up at 5am for a pre-work meeting, where most likely noone will agree on anything. You've just had enough and often day dream about doing away with it all and setting up your own at home business.

So would you actually make that move and pave the way for a more fulfilling work from home opportunity? Would you just leave it as idle dreaming only, or are you one of those that have simply never contemplated it and never will?

Presentation in Online Marketing

if you have decided to be an online marketer you may be under an automatic assumption that you can do away for good with your business suits and the ghd. be careful though with this, as presentation in onliine marketing can be just as integral.

the most obvious example will be with video marketing. nothing will drive your traffic away quicker than the site of a frumpy woman in casual clothes and lanky hair! take the time to make yourself look as presentable as possible, this doesn't mean power suiting up with enough hair spray to be flammable, just hop out of those pyjamas for a few minutes. now you might be thinking at this stage 'ping off what do you know', and i can only say this is my own finding based on personal experiences.

presentation in phone calls is also important and i don't just mean video calls on skype. how we feel about ourselves can come across in our voice and language. if you're having a very lazy day and are still in your slippers and feeling sleepy you may not come across well. while not every woman needs to get 'dressed' to feel great, sometimes a little self pampering can alter our mood so much that the brightness and beauty in our soul will translate across the wire so much easier.

finally, in internet marketing, personal branding is a key element. this means again presentation, though obviously is dependent on your niche. your niche may be surfing in which case beach hair and board shorts are perfectly acceptable, but if your niche is a high tier finance product then the sun and sand angle will not attract the right market for you. so make sure your presentation is reflective on your niche.
